SSTA - 3/14/95 SCR 10 TWENTY-NINTH ANNUAL BOYS' STATE SENATOR SHARP brings up SCR 10 as the next order of business before the Senate State Affairs Committee. SENATOR LEMAN comments he feels fright over the fact that he attended the First Annual Boys' State, and SCR 10 is recognizing the Twenty-Ninth Annual Boys' State. He asks if there is anything that can be done to shrink that number. SENATOR DONLEY recalls Senator Leman commenting on this subject in previous years. SENATOR DUNCAN remembers Senator Phillips commenting on attending Boys' State also. Every time Senator Duncan hears Senator Leman and Senator Phillips talk about attending Boys' State, he wants to vote against the resolution. SENATOR LEMAN reminds Senator Duncan that Senator Ellis also attended Boys' State. SENATOR DUNCAN adds that when Senator Ellis announces he attended Boys' State, he has to vote for the resolution. Number 028 SENATOR LEMAN makes a motion to discharge SCR 10 from the Senate State Affairs Committee with individual recommendations. Number 031 CHAIRMAN SHARP, hearing no objection, orders SCR 10 released from committee with individual recommendations.
